Principal's Message

What a blessing it continues to be to serve as the principal of South Todd Elementary School. As I begin my sixth year in this role, I remain incredibly honored and grateful to work alongside such a strong, loving, and dedicated team in partnership with our families and community.

There are exciting times ahead at South Todd and throughout Todd County Schools! As a district, we are committed to preparing every student to be Ready for Life - not only through academic achievement, but through the knowledge, character, skills, and opportunities they need to thrive in school, relationships, careers, and life. At South Todd, we believe this important work begins in elementary school, through the relationships we build, the expectations we set, the encouragement we give, and the belief we pour into our students every single day.

This year, we are especially excited to launch our Ron Clark Academy House System initiative. Every student and staff member will become part of a House, giving us new opportunities to build relationships, celebrate success, strengthen school spirit, grow leadership, and create an even deeper sense of belonging. While we will proudly represent four different Houses, our theme reminds us of what matters most: Four Houses, One Family.

Our work is grounded in the belief that every student deserves to be known, challenged, and prepared. We want our Cardinals to grow as responsible, respectful, confident, and future-ready learners who work hard, solve problems, care for others, and lead with heart.

My deepest desire is to continue bringing students, staff, families, and our community together around one shared purpose: our students. Whether we are celebrating House points, cheering one another on, or working toward big goals, we will do it together — Four Houses, One South Todd Family.

To our incredible staff and families, thank you for your continued partnership, encouragement, and support. And to our precious South Todd Cardinals, I cannot wait to see what is in store for the 2026–2027 school year. Let’s lead with heart, work hard, cheer loudly, and SOAR into our best year yet — Four Houses, One Family!
