Principal's Message

What a blessing it continues to be to serve as the principal of South Todd Elementary School. As I begin my fifth year in this role, I remain incredibly honored and grateful to work alongside a strong, loving, and dedicated team, in partnership with our families and community.

 

There are exciting times ahead at South Todd and Todd County Schools! With new district leadership and assessment initiatives, a continued focus on structured literacy and vocabulary, and the return of veteran intervention teachers, we are poised to take meaningful steps forward for our students. This year’s theme, “This Is Our Moment...  and the World is OURS,” reminds us that the work we do each day truly matters. The future isn’t waiting....  it’s here, and we are blessed to be part of shaping it.

 

At South Todd, our mission remains at the heart of all we do: to provide an environment where every student receives emotional support, strives for personal excellence, and achieves proficiency through a strong system of supports and interventions. We are committed to developing the whole child,,, nurturing both academic success and social-emotional growth so our Cardinals can become healthy, happy, and empowered citizens.

 

My deepest desire is to continue uniting students, staff, families, and community members around a shared purpose. When we come together with our students at the center, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish. We are, and always have been, stronger together.

 

To our incredible staff and families—thank you for your continued partnership. And to our precious South Todd Cardinals... I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the 2025–2026 school year. Let’s dream big, work hard, and SOAR into our BEST YEAR YET!!!!
