On Thursday night South Todd Elementary School hosted Family Fitness Night. This was the first Family Fitness Night hosted by STES. STES students, parents, and teachers enjoyed a night a healthy fun, where the whole family were invited to get active. Stations included capture the flag, walking, jump rope, speed cup stacking, spike ball, yoga, an escape room, and 4-Square. Drawings for parent/student prizes (2 Tie Breaker Water Park season passes, Subway gift cards, 1 month free at Performance Health Fitness, free session at IMAGE Dance/gymnastics, TC Park registration for spring sport, Jump Zone passes, Pedometer, free PE coupons, balls) were given every 15 minutes!
It was a great night for our community to see parents and kids running around trying to find the clues, playing capture the flag, and seeing the true spirit of collaboration in the building. A big thanks to all STES staff who helped make Family Fitness Night a great night for our community, but the BIGGEST THANKS goes to Ms. Robin Cardwell for planning and organizing such an awesome event! Thank you for all you do for our students and parents.
