Todd County School District will remain in Virtual Instruction/NTI until January 8th.
Beginning January 11th, when Todd County is in the “red” on the state COVID-19 Incidence Rate map we will do the following:
-North Todd Elementary School and South Todd Elementary School will return for “in person” (students whose parents have enrolled them for in person instruction). NTES and STES will use Virtual Instruction/NTI on Fridays.
-Todd County Middle School and Todd County Central High School students who are enrolled in person instruction will begin their “in person” instruction on a hybrid Red/Grey Schedule, based upon where the student lives.
TCMS and TCCHS students who live in the North Todd attendance area would be designated as the “Grey” group and TCMS/TCCHS students who live in the South Todd attendance area would be designated as the “Red” group. TCCHS and TCMS will provide their “in person” students with instruction through an asynchronous mode of instruction. This mode of instruction will have the teachers to prepare and present the students with all of their work on Mondays.
The “Grey” students will work on their class work while “in person” on Mondays and Tuesdays.
The “Red” students will complete their work virtually on Mondays and Tuesdays.
On Wednesdays and Thursdays the “Grey” will complete their work virtually and the “Red” students will complete their class work while being “in person”.
Todd County Middle School and Todd County Central High School will use Virtual Instruction/NTI on Fridays to work with students needing assistance along with assignment completion.
When Todd County is in the “orange” on the state COVID-19 map we will do the following:
-All “in person” students will attend school Monday through Friday.
We will revisit this plan on February 8th (3rd grading period mid-term).
This plan allow us to provide a “hybrid” learning schedule option for our students when Todd County is in the “orange”. The plan also allows us to provide an “aggressive hybrid” learning schedule option for our students when Todd County is in the “red”.
