Following a conference call with the Governor’s Office Friday, Todd County School District will now plan for students to return to school on April 20.
The closure had originally been between until April 13—spring break falls on April 3 through April 10—but it will now go until April 20. Non-Traditional Instruction plans are to be continued, with further extension still possible.
Schools, teachers, staff, and district staff are working diligently to reach out to families and students. TCSD will continue to make every effort to support student learning through this time. If parents have any concerns about your child’s learning, you are encouraging them to reach out to their child’s teacher for assistance.Todd County Food Services and Transportation Department will continue to deliver meals throughout the county to specific feeding sites, Monday-Friday, once a day. Students will be allowed to get their meals from a designated site, such as their local school or another off-campus location, then take it home. To request a prepared school meal please complete the attached Todd County Schools Food Service Pick Up Form. Requests must be submitted prior to 8:00am Monday - Friday to ensure the correct number of meals are prepared for pick up location sites. No special request meals will be provided.
